On 25 May, 2004, Jetstar launched its very first flight, which took off from Newcastle Airport, setting the stage for a transformative era in Australian aviation. This game-changer flight not only made air travel more accessible to the people of Australia, but also strengthened the bond between our community and Melbourne.
