Airport parking

Our airport has four car parks, all close to the terminal.

Premium Covered – directly outside the terminal (undercover)
Short Stay – 100 metres from the terminal (2-3 min walk)
Long Stay – 200 metres from the terminal (3-4 min walk)
Mid Stay – 300 metres from the terminal (5-6 min walk)
Long Stay Saver – 400 metres from the terminal (7-8 min walk)

Yes! We have an online booking system available for bookings from 2 hours before entry to 12 months in advance. No amendment or cancellation fees applicable prior to entry. 

Just follow the airport signs along Nelson Bay Road, turn off onto Williamtown Drive, then to access individual car parks using the directions below:

Premium – follow Williamtown Drive (1.3km), then turn right directly into the Premium car park.
Short Stay – follow Williamtown Drive (990m), then turn left into the Short Stay car park.
Long Stay – follow Williamtown Drive (800m), then turn left into the Long Stay 1 car park.Stay car park.
Mid Stay – follow Williamtown Drive (680m), turn right into Kindler Way (820m) then turn left into Mid Stay after the rental car driveway.
Long Stay Saver – Follow Williamtown Drive (320m), turn first right into Technology Place (100m), turn left into Cresswell Way (100m), then left into the Long Stay Saver car park. Alternatively, follow Williamtown Drive (680m), turn right into Kindler Way (820m), turn right into Cresswell Way (100m) then turn right directly into the Long Stay Saver car park.

Yes, Long Stay Saver is no charge for the first 2 hours, or if booking online our Mystery Carpark product is bookable with limited availability, so book online early to save.

Yes. The Short Stay car park is close to the terminal and a great option for picking up or dropping off passengers. This car park costs $10 for the first hour.

Alternatively, you can park in the Long Stay Saver car park at no charge for the first 2 hours.

Pick-up and drop-off areas are available in the Short Stay Car Park (100 metres from the terminal). Learn more about travelling with a disability at our airport.

Our best parking rates are available if you make an online reservation in advance.  Payments can be made online using credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). If you choose to not make a reservation you can use a credit card or cash can be used at any of our payment stations inside the terminal. Alternatively, payment can be made by credit card at the boomgate on exiting. Please note, credit card processing fees will apply if paying by credit card.  

If you lose your ticket please go to one of our payment stations in Arrivals and use the 'press for assistance' button.  You will be connected with our operations team where you will need to advise them of your car registration number so they can search for your entry details.

Our Premium Covered car park and Short Stay car park have family parking spaces available. The spaces are clearly marked with the pram symbol.

All our car parks have CCTV cameras installed, are well lit and our airport is staffed 24/7.

Yes, the Premium Covered car park is undercover.

Motorcycles must be parked within a parking space and are not permitted to park on any footpaths, walkways, or entry/exit doors.
